Swing by booth 949 at Wizard World Philly this weekend and harass the guys who write this comic (while I sit at home and try to finish said comic sometime in 2012)

They also have many other fine comics to purchase that HAVE come out on time,plus t-shirts,pins,stickers,and other swag, annnnnnnd they have a movie coming out too which they’ll be talking about at the Alpha Girls panel in Room-A on Saturday at 10am.

visually, the beginning of Sugar Plum Fairie’s message is very inspired by (ripped off from) “The Warriors”

this is the start of a few pages that benefit greatly,clarity-wise, from seeing them digitally (though I may argue that seeing more of my art isn’t always a good thing)

though, the last panel may be my favourite image in the whole series

o.k. rather than just copy and past the same message over n over for the next month on these I figure I’ll try and give some “directors commentary”

this was the first page in the issue that really suffered from going to print..I started off too dark and so it printed even darker…lost most of the detail from the waist down

her apprentice costume in the opening (and her other costume in the ending…stay tuned kiddies) is meant to be an homage to the original Sheldon Moldoff costume

also, in the series I use snow as the backdrop and symbol to times of Moon Girls deepest losses

cause I’m artsy-fartsy like that
